Jesus quoted the prophet Isaiah saying, “My house shall be called a house of prayer.” We are a house that ministers to the Lord, morning, noon, and night. We don’t just do this on a personal level, but we do this corporately. The early church was devoted to prayer, as we see all throughout New Testament! Prayer is not just something we do, it is apart of who we are. We believe that prayer mirrors the posture of heaven and furthers our covenant with heaven and within the community.

One of the richest ministries at Anchor church involves serving the next generation. We want our children to be aware of the presence of Jesus and have a life-giving church experience. We believe that there is no junior Holy Spirit and we are committed to fostering an environment where they can encounter the presence of Jesus. We want to walk alongside parents in discipling their children in the ways of Jesus.
